Vane/Windsock | Aircraft Warning

Heliport Wind Direction Indicator
This product provides a clear indication of wind direction in the Final Approach and Takeoff Area (FATO) and gives pilots a general sense of wind speed.

As recommended by aviation standards, every heliport should be equipped with at least one wind vane. For safe and accurate operation, it should be installed in a clear, unobstructed location, free from interference by nearby objects or rotor downwash, and must remain visible to pilots in the air.

Illuminated Wind Direction Indicator
The illuminated wind vane provides a clear indication of wind speed and direction for pilots, both day and night, making it an essential safety aid for all types of airports.

The system features a 360° bearing rotation gear for accurate wind tracking and includes two 100W metal tungsten halogen lamps to illuminate the wind sleeve at night, along with a red obstruction light mounted on top for added visibility.

Constructed from corrosion- and heat-resistant nylon fabric, the wind sleeve ensures long service life in demanding environments. The unit operates on a 220V, 50Hz power supply.
