HL-12-A | Aircraft Warning Lights

HL-12-A Heliport Lighting Beacon
The HL-12-A is a white flashing beacon designed to serve as a critical visual guide for pilots approaching a heliport. It is especially essential in low-visibility conditions, helping ensure the heliport is clearly visible from a distance.

In compliance with ICAO regulations, every heliport should be equipped with at least one beacon. The HL-12-A should be mounted above or near the heliport in an elevated position, taking care to avoid glare in the pilot’s line of sight from close range.
